Sending Christmas cards with your favorite family photos is a tradition in the royal family.
The British Royal Family recently revealed their Christmas cards, which will be sent to friends, family and colleagues. Hence, in memory of the late Queen Elizabeth II, her Christmas cards were also posted on Instagram.
In the first black and white image, taken in 1949, Princess Elizabeth poses in a dress with a pearl necklace around her neck and holds the hand of little Charles who is standing next to her.
The second Christmas card shows a photo of King George VI with his wife and daughters, taken at Buckingham Palace in December 1938. Next to Princess Elizabeth is the first royal corgi, Dookie.
“With the best wishes for Christmas and New Year,” representatives of the monarchy addressed the fans.
