The new color has been compared to a smooth and delicate peach that “enriches the mind, body and heart.”
Experts from the American Pantone Color Institute have determined the main color for 2024. This was reported on the organization’s Instagram page.
It became Peach Fuzz – Peach soft, symbolizing tenderness and care.
“Sensually beautiful, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz is a hearty peach color that evokes feelings of tenderness and conveys a sense of caring, community and collaboration. Peach Fuzz is a gift for the senses that creates a symbiosis of taste, sight, touch and smell and celebrates delicious taste,” the message said.
Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Iseman also added that they chose a color that “exudes warmth and modern elegance. Reflecting empathy, the shade offers a tactile embrace and effortlessly blends youth in timelessness.”

It was previously reported that Pantone has identified the primary color of 2022. It is a blue base with hints of violet-red undertones.
