Nazar took up arms at the beginning of the war. He went to war with his brother Ilya, who died in December 2022.
Ukrainian dancer and model Nazar Grabar, who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the outbreak of a full-scale war, explained why he is not currently serving at the front. He spoke about this in an interview with Nikita Dobrynin.
The defender said he resigned from the army because he had the right to do so under Ukrainian law, as his brother had died in the war. However, he received a lot of hate for it.
“I have a lot of anger, I will publish something and in the comments they wrote: “TikTok warrior, you have enough of the fight and you will interview.” I have already explained a thousand times that I retired from the reserve. under the new law , because of the loss of my brother at the front, because… I don’t make excuses for the fact that I’m the last man in the family, like the breadwinner, I explain, because they wrote to me several times: “How did you do this?” Because you are a media person?” No, not because I am a media person. General Staff f***r, who am I. I am a soldier, so everything must be in accordance with the law,” he said.
At the same time, Nazar Grabar added that he was released for six months, so if he acts again, he will go to the front.
“I think if it wasn’t for the law that put me in the reserve for six months, I would still be fighting. I don’t know what will happen next. I am registered at the military registration and enlistment office, six months are up that they are, they can move me again. Considering that the people who want it are few and far between, and people are running out, I’m ready for any scenario,” concluded the serviceman.
It was previously reported that Nazar Grabar received an award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
