Angel Diversidade held the 1st Meeting to include people with disabilities in the audiovisual job market
Angel Diversidade, an agency created for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the audiovisual market, made its official launch on November 28th, in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated on December 3rd.
To mark the moment with praise, the agency promoted the 1st Meeting on the Inclusion of People with Disabilities for the Audiovisual Job Marketin partnership with the Inclusion of People with Disabilities Committee of the Women of Brazil Group.
The event took place online last Tuesday, 28th, and was broadcast on the Youtube channel of Grupo Mulheres do Brasil.
Coordinated by the founder of Angel, the photographer Angela Rezéits partners, the press and public relations advisor Vicente Negrao and the publicist and conflict mediator Daniela Morelliand by the Women of Brazil Group, through its CEO Alexandra Segantin and the Leader of the Inclusion of People with Disabilities Committee Terezinha Salamanca, the Meeting discussed topics related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the job market – especially audiovisual, the agency’s area of activity – in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Law on quotas for people with disabilities.
To present panels on relevant topics, such as the prejudice suffered by people without disabilities who work to guarantee the rights and the real inclusion of people with disabilities in society, the potential in digital media, care and safety in work sets in function specificities, they were invited Fernanda Bianchinifounder of the Association that bears her name and responsible for the creation of Cia. Ballet de Cegos, and Marinalva Cruzgodmother, consultant and agent of Angel Diversidade, woman with disabilities and specialist in diversity, accessibility and policies for the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities.
The event featured the screening of videos, such as the film by Instituto Airton Senna and the mini documentary MONA Aqui, by Lucca Messerwhich portrays the struggle of black women with disabilities in Brazil, and scenes from the soap opera All the Flowers (airing on TV Globo) – whose protagonist is blind – and testimonials from the artists who participated in these works about the opportunity provided by Angel Diversidade – the dancers Isabel, Cintia It is Gisele, Mona and the actor Cleber Tolinicompleted the program.
In addition, a photo session, with the setting up of a studio at the headquarters of Grupo Mulheres do Brasil, will be held on December 1st, so that new agents can take photos to start their portfolio and for their social networks.
