Ana Hickmann filed a complaint against her husband, Alexandre Correafor physical aggression and domestic violence.
It all started after a fight between Ana and Alexandre last Saturday, the 11th, in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. The police were called to respond to an incident at the scene. According to the police report, the fight was witnessed by employees of the house and the couple’s 9-year-old son.
Ana stated that she was attacked with headbutts from Alexandre and that he also closed the door on her arm. After the incident, the presenter went to a hospital in the city.
“Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks the fans for their love and solidarity and informs that she is at home, well and fortunately has not suffered any major consequences to her physical integrity”, said Ana’s advisor in a note.
And according to journalist Fabia Oliveira, Ana refused a protective measure against her husband: “He was aware of the protective measures conferred by the Maria da Penha Law, however, at the moment, he chose not to request them.”
After the accusations, Alexandre used his social networks to comment on the case: “In fact, yesterday, I had a disagreement with my wife. An absolutely isolated situation that did not generate any major consequences.”
“I would also like to clarify that I never head-butted her, as is untruely being reported in the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time”, continued.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to my entire family for what happened. We have been married for 25 years, without any occurrence of this nature. I have always served Ana as her agent, with all the care, affection and respect, as so treat the seven women I work with in my office”, finished.
