Elfman, now 70, gained fame with scores for films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and Batman.
American composer Danny Elfman, who created the music for the Wednesday series, has been accused of sexual assault. The Guardian reported this.
The woman, identified in court documents as Jane Doe XX, said she met the celebrity in 1997, when she was 21 years old. The musician, taking advantage of his recognition, encouraged the victim to take actions that caused him great discomfort.
She said Danny Elfman repeatedly undressed in front of her and masturbated while she slept next to her.
In this regard, the representatives of the star said that the accusations against him are “baseless and absurd” and the composer is ready to defend himself in court.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, comes three months after it was reported that Elfman was previously accused of similar conduct in another case and agreed to pay $830,000 in restitution as part of a legal agreement.
It was previously reported that Katy Perry’s ex-husband, stand-up comedian Russell Brand, has been accused of rape, sexual harassment and emotional abuse.
