Ukrainian actor Sergei Gladkov has died. He rose to fame with his role in the silent TV series Village of Fools. Vadim Nabokov, actor of the creative group Kalambur, announced this on Facebook.
The actor is 60 years old. He is originally from Odessa, where he graduated from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute, specifically the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics.
At the same time, during his years at the institute he created his first clown projects. Subsequently, the actor completed directing and pantomime courses.
In 1985, he started creating the first clown group Pantophone. He became the prototype for the future projects “Fu Store” and “Village of Fools.”
Also at that time, Gladkov successfully collaborated with the comedy troupe Masks.
It was Gladkov who created the image of the Farmer in the Village of Fools.
After his acting career, he worked as a sound engineer in many films and TV series.
