He played his earliest roles in the films The Gang That Can’t Shoot (1971), On the Other Side of 110th Street (1972), Chinatown (1974). In 1976, Young starred in the movie Rocky. The film was a huge success, and his role as Paulie earned him an Academy Award nomination. The actor played his last role in 2019.
