The Israeli government criticized Gigi Hadid for supporting the Palestinians

Gigi Hadid has previously said that supporting Palestine cannot be equated with anti-Semitism.

The Israeli government criticized the supermodel Gigi Hadid, who, in turn, said that she was very sympathetic and pleased “for the struggle of the Palestinians and their life under occupation.”

Specifically, a post appeared on the government’s Instagram page saying “there is nothing heroic about the deaths of Israelis at the hands of Hamas” and “condemning Hamas for not targeting Palestine” but “supporting the Israelis in their struggle “It’s the right thing to do.”

They also addressed Hadid directly, asking if she slept last week or if she just turned a blind eye to the deaths of Israelis.

“Have you been sleeping this past week? Or are you just turning a blind eye to the fact that Jewish babies are being killed in their homes? Your silence clearly shows your situation. We see you… If you don’t. judge it, your words are meaningless,” they told the Israeli government.
