The celebrity, who has battled a long-term battle with cancer, admits that he is looking with confidence to the future.
Famous Hollywood actor Dolph Lundgren says he believes in the future, despite his ongoing battle with cancer. Marca reports.
It is understood the 65-year-old was first diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015, but in 2021 a tumor was discovered on his liver and doctors told him it was incurable, but the celebrity decided not to let it affect him anymore in his lifestyle.
“I live a normal life. I still take oral medications, but it doesn’t really affect me. I mean, there are no side effects. Every day is a blessing for me and I really enjoy it and I feel very good about that,” he said.
Dolph Lundgren said that his doctor, after discovering a tumor on his liver, told him: “You should probably rest and spend more time with your family and things like that.”
“So I casually asked him: “How long do you think I left?” He answered: “I think two or three years, but from his voice I realized that it was probably less,” the actor shared.
The actor added that this news surprised him a lot, and he decided to consult another doctor. He was able to cure kidney cancer by targeting a mutation common to lung cancer.
“If I had gone for another treatment, I would have had no more than three to four months left. I could not believe that the difference would be so great that in three months the situation would have changed downwards by 20-30%.” ” Lundgren admitted.
Dolph Lundgren was previously reported to have married his 27-year-old sweetheart Emma Krokdahl.
