LG released a laptop with a foldable flexible screen

The Gram Fold can be used as a kind of monitor, an e-reader, or a giant tablet.

South Korean company LG has introduced its first laptop with a foldable flexible screen. Android Authority reports this.

The foldable LG Gram Fold laptop offers a 17-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels when unfolded or a 12-inch display when folded with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels. The hinge, according to the manufacturer, can withstand up to 30 thousand folds, equivalent to about 20 folds per day for four years.

The laptop weighs 1.25 kg and has a maximum thickness of 9.4 mm when opened.

Additionally, the LG Gram Fold is powered by a 10-core Intel Core i5-1335U processor (15W TDP), 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

A 72 Wh battery is also reported, charged via USB-C using the included power supply (65 W).

The price of one copy is 3,729 US dollars, and the device itself will be available in limited quantities on the South Korean market.
