All dogs that will participate in setting the record must be examined by veterinarians and meet certain criteria.
In the USA, 219 dogs set a unique record. They were recorded by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records at the screening of the cartoon Paw Patrol: Megakino, UPI wrote.
The screening of the film took place outdoors in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
Guinness World Records judge Michael Emprik confirmed the number of four-legged spectators, adding that the previous record was set in October last year. Then, 199 dogs attended the movie screening at once.
“It’s not every day that I get to enjoy an ‘officially great’ time at the movies with hundreds of furry friends. I want to congratulate Paramount Pictures and PAW Patrol: MegaMovie on their new title,” Emprik said in a statement.
