In a podcast interview PodTravah, Lucas Penteado commented on his bisexuality. During the chat, the actor stated that he recognizes himself as a bisexual man, but has never had a romantic relationship with a man.
“I recognize myself as bisexual, but at the moment I am ‘Nayarasexual’, I am engaged. Being bisexual, being gay, being lesbian, it’s not what you decide. It’s not a matter of your doubts, I would like to say this in a slightly heavy way, because people need to hear it. And most importantly, it is not an object of pleasure for you, it is my life“, he said.
“It happens that when I get into a serious relationship, it ends up becoming public, it’s automatic. I never had a serious relationship with a man, it didn’t work, it didn’t happen, I never dated, I never got engaged, I ended up getting engaged to cis women,” continued.
Lucas also recalled his kiss in Gil do Vigor during his participation in the BBB21: “We understand that they applauded when Fiuk kissed, they applauded when Arthur kissed. But when Lucas Penteado kissed Gil, Lucas was pretending, he was daring, he was wanting to attract attention and win Big Brother.”
“Even on a reality show where people were supposed to be much more intellectually evolved to be prepared to receive diversity. Because that program needs to be diverse.”he added.
