Last Wednesday, 20th, Carmo Dalla Vecchia participated in the Meeting and commented on his current work, the actor is on the air in the 6pm soap opera, Perfect love. In the plot, Carmo plays a bisexual lawyer in the 1940s.
“It’s been beautiful, difficult… It’s a really beautiful experience to have the opportunity to talk about the reality of a bisexual man in the 1940s. Showing that this is nothing new, it has always existed. It also reminds me of a little of my history, the prejudice that I have suffered in my life”, he said.
The actor took the moment to comment on an embarrassing moment he had during the recording of the plot: “I went to do a scene with the boy who plays my boyfriend in the soap opera and there was nothing special about the scene, they both left the room and I looked at him, put on my glasses and just noticed how handsome he was.”
“I, at that moment, in a ridiculous way, felt embarrassed. Since I am this person who has never had any problems, I spoke openly (about sexuality), but why? Because this story is marked inside my body, that publicly, or through those dear people who have worked with me for years, I have never shown my sexuality in this way”, completed.
