The release of the film Red, White and Blue Blood won millions of viewers in more than 240 countries. The film is an adaptation of the book by Casey McQuiston.
The film tells the story of Alex Claremont-Diaz, son of the first female president of the United States, and British Prince Henry, the two have very similar characteristics, including their disdain for each other.
Despite the rivalry and government problems, Alex and Henry try to create a friendship, but, however, a deeper feeling begins and the two fall in love.
The director of the film, Matthew Lópezspoke about his desire that, with the success of Red, White and Blue Blood, more films with LGBTQIAPN+ themes be produced by major platforms.
“There is a misconception in Hollywood that audiences can’t handle two men or two women having sex on screen and so, traditionally, filmmakers have been encouraged (or ordered) to avoid these types of scenes,” he said to iG Queer.
“The fact that the sex scenes in this film were not only not rejected by the public, but also celebrated, proves how false this premise is,” completed.
