A year after the divorce, Valentina Marinina said she was beaten and abused by her ex-husband.
The ex-wife of the Ukrainian actor Konstantin Voitenko, the dancer Valentina Marinina, said that she was a victim of domestic violence and explained why she remained silent for a long time about the cruel behavior of her ex. He wrote this on his Instagram page.
According to her, she did not talk about her experience for a long time because she was not mentally prepared, adding that she rarely appears on social networks now because she fears for the safety of her six-year-old daughter, Emilia.
“Some people ask, why did you stay silent for so long? It’s like “where have you been these 8 years”? I was going my own way. I wasn’t ready to share. I’m a living person. I don’t go out on stories yet for the sake of my safety and the safety of my daughter. Because now my profile attracts a lot of attention, and not all of it is friendly. Thank you for your understanding!”, wrote Valentina Marinina.
The dancer also noted that after speaking out publicly about domestic violence, she began to feel better.
“Like me? I can breathe easy. I free myself. I have nothing to hide. And it’s very easy! The sadness that lived inside me disappears. I start listening to different music. I have the strength to organize my life with my daughter abroad more actively and happily. This is where I direct all my energy. My only and very difficult goal now is to live a happy, relaxed and contented life,” he concluded.
Earlier it was reported that Konstantin Voitenko for the first time commented on the accusation of domestic violence against his ex-wife Valentina Marinina.
