Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a sequel to the 2018 film of the same name. The film is supposed to be the fifteenth in the DC Comics cinematic universe.
DC has shown the first teaser for the film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomwhich is set to premiere on December 20, 2023. The video was published on YouTube.
According to the plot, the main character, played by Jason Momoa, has to fight Black Manta, who aims to defeat his enemy once and for all.
“Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to destroy the superhero once and for all. This time, Black Manta is heavier than ever.” as he now wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, unleashing an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will confront his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to form an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their conflicts to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the entire world from irreversible destruction,” the film’s description says.
The film’s sequel is once again directed by James Wan.
