The play, written by the American Mattew Lopezdirected and translated by Zé HenriquePaula’s, talks about the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s. Gianechini will play Henry, while Bruno will play Eric. The narrative revolves around the lives of young writers who choose to tell their own choices.
During the story, Eric enters into a troubled relationship with Toby, a playwright, who was previously involved with Henry and Walter. So the enveloping love triangle between Eric, Henry and Walter forms, bringing a deep dynamic to the play.
Recently, Gianechini spoke about his sexuality during his participation in the Caras podcast.
“I never felt obligated to anything, especially now doing this piece, I kept remembering the time when there was this militancy of wanting to charge. I think it’s so unreasonable”, he said.
“I feel very comfortable, [mas] I don’t want to talk about my sexuality anymore because I’ve said everything I have to say. It seems that I just talk about it, and I don’t want to talk anymore.”he added.
