O Pope Francis sent a handwritten letter to Acceptancea group that defines itself as a free space for Catholic members of the LGBTQIAP+ community.
On a special occasion, the religious leader sent, through the nun Jeannine Gramickthe handwritten document.
The nun said that, in the letter, the Pope expressed sincere greetings on this anniversary milestone and offered prayers for the members of the group to develop, more and more, love for Jesus.
Jeannine Gramick also said that the religious leader reinforced that he wants Acceptance participants to always cultivate the deepest love for Jesus and religion.
The letter was not released in full, but the group publicly thanked the Pope for the warm and encouraging message. In addition, they also thanked the religious leader for reaffirming the group’s dignity and faith.
