The star wrote a touching post about a close friend who died near Bakhmut and showed his family.
On the Day of Remembrance of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, singer Jamala remembered her friend from Crimea, Seyran Kadyrov, who died fighting the Russian invaders. He wrote this on Instagram.
The artist said that a man who served in the Crimean Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense died in January of this year near Bakhmut. He left behind three girls, the youngest was only two years old.
The star also added that he doesn’t have a brother, but he has Seiran to help him, so he noted that he remains for him “an incredible person!”
In addition, Jamala urged Ukrainians not to forget to help the servicemen to save their lives, as well as to bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
“More than anything, now I want to do everything I can to save the lives of the other Heroes who continue to protect us on the front lines. For us we have done everything possible and cannot influence the anything. This is the biggest trap in the fight. If the feeling of helplessness is more intense, know that you can certainly do everything possible and impossible. Before, ATVs were for entertainment, and now it is a very important tool to go through battle paths where no tank or an armored personnel carrier will pass. Let’s do everything we can to deliver our victory,” summed up the winner of Eurovision 2016.
