Legal papers were filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court this month. And this has officially resolved all the outstanding issues.
Actress Halle Berry has officially separated from her third husband, Olivier Martinez, after an eight-year legal battle. This was reported by TMZ.
The celebrity couple announced their split after two years of marriage in 2015. A year later, the lawsuit was dismissed as the exes had unresolved custody issues over their common son, nine-year-old Mateo.
Now the ex-spouses agree to formal custody and alimony.
Now, the Oscar-winning star will pay Martinez eight thousand dollars per month in alimony. He will also pay for his son’s health insurance, therapy and school.
Also, ex-spouses develop a schedule according to which they can spend half a week with their child – from Monday to Wednesday or Friday. The weekend Mateo spends time with each parent.
