Recently Taylor Swift interrupted his show to pay tribute to the LGBTQIA+ community and took the opportunity to express his affection and gratitude for the support he receives.

In the music video for “You Need to Calm Down”, released in 2019, Taylor united several community icons and spoke about her desire for all places in the United States to be as inclusive as her concerts.
“You guys are singing every word of this song (You Need to Calm Down). There is so much solidarity, mutual support and acceptance here, as well as peace and security. I wish every space could be a safe and beautiful place for people in the LGBTQIA+ community.” stated.
The artist took the opportunity to criticize the recent anti-LGBTQIA+ laws in the United States, where several projects have been approved, focusing on the transgender population and drag queens.
Taylor also spoke about the importance of studying candidates in elections that take place every two years: “Do they really stand up for rights? Are they genuine allies? Are they defenders of equality?
