Ukrainian singer Kamaliya recalled how she sang in 2007 with the famous Italian musician Toto Cutugno. The star shared the archived video on Instagram.
“I grew up listening to the tunes created by maestro Toto Cutugno, performed by artists like Joe Dassin and Celentano. In 2007, I had the incredible honor of singing his beautiful song Soli with him,” she wrote.
The star also recalled how he attended a celebrity concert in Kyiv in 2017, adding that when he went backstage, he was very surprised, because he remembered her.
“His unexpected death saddens me. The world of music has truly lost an irreplaceable talent. I will forever honor the memory of Toto Cutugno, and his songs will always have a special place in my heart. RIP Maestro, Kamaliya wrote.
