Ukrainian singer, leader of the group O.Torvald Zhenya Galich, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told how he made money during the war. He shared this in an interview on YouTube channel ISLND TV.
The star admitted that the change in income was big. In particular, in the army he has only a “bare” salary, so savings and royalties save him.
He also mentioned that during the entire raid he saw his wife and children only three times.
“Now it’s worse. We used to have military pay, presidential bonus. Now the salary is just “bare”, it’s small. It’s good that I have savings, I have royalties. I keep the minimum, I send the rest to my family . Very good. There is also an institution that works without a spouse. It brings in little money. The spouse works, and they receive payments from internally displaced people. They rent housing,” said the artist.
