Maikon Balbino33 years old, has a very common history among Christian men who have assumed homosexuality, after revealing that he was part of the LGBTQIAP+ community, the singer was expelled from the evangelical church he attended.
In 2022, Maikon released his first pop project, an EP called ME with five songs, including a re-recording of one of the great hits of Vanessa Camargo“I Can’t Resist Us Two”.
The singer grew up in the Gospel environment and, after being expelled from the church, he promised that he would bring the “love of God” to everyone in the LGBTQIAP+ community and proved that spirituality is much more important than attending church.
In his first musical projects, Maikon took real messages about acceptance, love and friendship. Now, with his new ep, the artist addresses other situations of life and everyday life.
In the video for the single “I’m still here”, the artist talks about fetishes, desires and sex. In a “realistic” style, the clip is full of sensuality, and was recorded at the ‘Dédalos Bar’ bar, known for being the biggest “gay hookup point” in São Paulo. The clip consists of handcuffs, leather and scenes recorded in a dark room.
