There are several foods that can replace this ingredient in any food. The list also includes canned brine.

Ukrainian chef Evgeny Klopotenko told how to replace the salt, which had almost disappeared from the shelves of Ukraine due to the actions of the Russian occupiers. He shared life hacks on Instagram.

According to the star, first, you need to reduce your salt intake, even if there are more supplies.

“A week or two, your receptors will adapt, and you’ll know you could have eaten too much salt before. It’s really going to be a more rewarding story. The second point: to compensate for salt in food , add salted foods, ”advises the chef.

Among the products that can replace salt at least partially are soy, cheese, suluguni, any cottage cheese in general, salted nuts, herring.

“If there was pickle from cucumbers / tomatoes last year, then add a little to the borscht, and it will make it salty,” Klopotenko recommends.

Remember that Klopotenko previously received an award for blogging.
