The Iveco electric van entered the Guinness Book of Records

For the record, the electric van had to pull a line of vehicles over 30 meters. And it all worked out.

The Iveco eDaily electric van has set a Guinness World Record. He towed a convoy of vehicles with a total weight of 153.6 tons. The video appeared on the IVECO UK YouTube channel.

The footage shows the Iveco eDaily towing an Iveco X-Way Strator truck with a Collard Group digger trailer. In addition, the weight of five tons is additional ballast. Behind the van is an Iveco X-Way 8×4 dump truck and an off-road airfield fire truck.

It turns out that the UK’s strongest man, Adam Bishop, is driving the van. And the race itself, as they say, was held at Blackbush Airport in Surrey, England.

By the way, the Iveco eDaily is sold in Europe with one, two or three modular batteries with a capacity of 37 to 111 kWh. The van itself is equipped with a 188 hp electric motor. and 400 Nm of torque.

The Iveco eDaily has a range of up to 400 km on a single charge.
