According to Cuoco, the injury was so severe that she had to agree to surgery and sign papers that she would not sue the doctor if her leg was amputated.
When Caylee recovered from the anesthesia, the first thing she did was check if her leg was still there.
“The fall did not hurt my leg. My fall was not a big deal. When the horse stepped on me – and I remember it as clear as the sun because it lasts a second when something is so bad – I thought, ‘I just fell. on a whole bunch of leaves? Because I heard everything crack. It took me five to ten seconds to realize that it wasn’t just 400 leaves, it was my bones,” he says.
He added that the pins and rods remained in the leg after the operation. Doctors also thought that she would not be able to walk for three months, however, Kaylie returned to the set after only two weeks.
