Bruce Willis has three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore – Tallulah, Rumer and Scout. In 2009, he married Emma Heming. They have two daughters, Mabel and Evelie.
The youngest of the three daughters of actor Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Tallulah spoke about the state of her father’s health, who is struggling with frontotemporal dementia. He spoke about it in an interview with Vogue.
According to him, at first he and his family did not notice that there was something wrong with the Hollywood star. At first, he thought he had a hearing problem. However, he now admits that he is so embarrassed that he didn’t raise the alarm earlier.
Now, when Tallulah approaches dad, she tries to take lots of pictures to remember him as cheerful and happy.
“Every time I go to my dad’s house, I take a lot of pictures. I’m like an archaeologist looking for treasure in things I didn’t pay much attention to before. All his voice messages are stored on the hard drive. I try to document everything so that it reminded me of him, and he of us. Fortunately, dementia did not affect his mobility,” shared Tallulah.
At the same time, he admitted that Bruce Willis still remembers him. So the girl does not lose hope that “Die Hard” can recover.
“He still knows who I am and lights up when I walk into a room. One of the differences between dementia and Alzheimer’s is that, at least in the early stages of the disease, the former is characterized by impairments in speech and motor, while the latter is characterized by memory loss. I am constantly confused between the present and the past when I talk about Bruce: he was, he was. This is because I have hope that I don’t want to give up,” he summed up.
It was previously reported that the family of actor Bruce Willis said that doctors have discovered that he has frontotemporal dementia.
