Mika Newton will not perform his hits in Russian

According to the artist, he supports Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and does not plan to translate old songs into Russian.

Ukrainian singer Mika Newton says what will happen to his Russian-language hits.

In particular, answering the questions of his Instagram-story fans, the artist said that he will not create compositions written in Russian.

“No. And I don’t plan to do it. I only sing in Ukrainian or English. Old songs are already in the past,” she said.

In addition, the performer added that he would not translate them into Ukrainian either. According to Mika Newton, during this time he has changed a lot and he doesn’t want to go back to the past.

“I changed a lot during this time. Emotionally, I experienced a lot and I started writing songs myself. I’m in America to develop and move forward. And I don’t see any reason to write (in Ukrainian) the old, when there are so many new ,” summed up singer.
