Last Sunday, the 14th, Black Gil appeared on her social networks to wish her followers a happy mother’s day and took the opportunity to update her fans about her health status.
The singer said she moved to the capital of São Paulo to continue treatment for bowel cancer.
“Loves, I haven’t been here for a while. I think you noticed that my life and my treatment took a turn, I came to São Paulo. I’ve been living here for two weeks now.” she said.
“I’m here to wish a happy Mother’s Day to all mothers to mothers who are undergoing cancer treatment like me, I know that for us today is a day that we are sensitive, that we, our emotions are in full bloom of the skin”, completed.
Preta spoke about her healing process: “We are going through a healing process and it is not easy. It is a very painful process, very difficult, but it strengthens us a lot. I am sure that all of us will come out of this journey strengthened, transformed”.
At the end of the video, the singer was confident and said that she is receiving support from friends and family: “Let’s do it, let’s keep fighting because that’s what mother is: we fight, we fight, and we win”.
