He also recalled Rita’s will to live: “She wanted to live, she didn’t want to leave. Until the end, she never wanted to leave. She always had a lot of stuff. Plans to write, to make music. I would even say to her: ‘I would even like to trade places with you because you have so much more to do than me. I go and you stay'”.
“She was losing… her ability to walk, her ability to think. However, her final moments were light, calm, sweet. We were all together with her, we set up a hospital room.”, said.
“And the last stage in bed, she looked like a little child, a little bird. Her breathing stopped… it was peaceful, it was peaceful”, he said.
