On this Thursday, the 4th, Thales Bretas wrote a text in honor of her husband, Paulo Gustavo, who died two years ago, a victim of covid-19. On his Instagram, the doctor published a series of photos alongside the comedian and won the support of Internet users.
“I’m going to try to re-signify today’s date, which weighed me down daily for 2 years, when a virus turned the world upside down and took my husband, the father of my children, away from our daily life. He was such a special man, that I, our family and millions of people suffer a collective grief.”, started it.
“I know that many miss him every day, and I, his absence every minute, as strong as his presence was. Joy turned to silence. Companionship turned to loneliness. The responsibility of raising two incredible little boys, previously shared, got bigger when it landed on my shoulders alone.”, vented.
“All this together with an emptying of so many future plans! A colorful and beautiful draft, which we wrote together, is once again a blank page.”, continued.
“However, I need to reinforce in myself, once again, the gratitude for all the love we experienced! For everything we built together! For seeing our children growing up strong, healthy, intelligent and loved! I am very proud of the person I became later of everything I lived. I looked for life.”, he wrote.
“I keep drafting my blank sheet. And despite so much adversity, it is necessary to find strength and courage to keep living, dreaming and reinventing yourself. That’s what I wish to everyone who goes through situations similar to mine: determination to follow with faith because life is never 100% beautiful nor 100% dark!”, he said.
“Life fluctuates, but it’s important to always have a story worth telling! Missing you is eternal; infinite. I love you forever PG… keep lighting our paths!”, he finished.
