After a strong scandal surrounding the participation of the singer Ruslana in the Eurovision 2023 program, the director and creative director from Ukraine German Nenov said that the artist will perform in the final show. He spoke about this in a commentary on KP.UA.
According to him, the performer will have a special mission, and will celebrate his win in the international song contest in 2004.
“Ruslana will be shown in the show, including in the grand final. She will appear in one of the numbers with a very special mission and symbolism. Ruslana’s first victory for Ukraine will definitely be awarded. In our country, almost all representatives in The top 10 Eurovision deserves to stand on stage this year. We have chosen the artists performing in the semi-finals and the final Eurovision, not based on personal sympathy, but on the concept of this particular show, “he says.
It should be noted that the semi-finals of Eurovision-2023 will be held on May 9 and 11, the final on May 13. As last year’s winners, Ukraine automatically entered the Grand Final, where it will be represented by TVORCHI with the song Heart of Steel.
Earlier it was reported that Ruslana did not receive an invitation to perform on the stage of this year’s international show in British Liverpool.
