The winner of Eurovision-2016 visited the destroyed Romanovsky bridge and visited the cemetery of destroyed cars.
Ukrainian singer Jamala visited the cities of Bucha and Irpen, which have been under occupation since the beginning of the full-scale war. He announced it on Instagram.
The performer also shared a series of photos against the backdrop of destroyed houses and a bridge across the Irpen River, with the help of local residents who fled from the enemy attack.
The artist noted that foreign delegations often visit these places when they come to Ukraine. He believes that this is right, because the whole world should see the consequences of Russian aggression with its own eyes.
“Yesterday I was in Bucha and Irpin. I visited the memorial and, apparently, reconsidered the delegation of the Czech president. Foreigners now come to these places. It is important that they visit almost every day = i -highlight the brutality that the conqueror committed to our land. “Tragic places for us. These cities should be recognized all over the world. But we must remember the thanks with which Irpin and Bucha survived and were freed! Cars with children’s seats were shot, a broken bridge, through which (as the mayor of Irpin, Alexander, told me today) 40,000 people were displaced,” he wrote.
In addition, Jamala said that, despite the enemy’s missile attacks on the territory of our country, life continues and each of us is fighting for it today.
