Buckingham Palace has released a new official portrait of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. It was taken last month in the Blue Room.

Along with the photo, eight Pages of Honor will be announced to accompany Their Majesties during the Coronation Service.
So, the king’s honorary pages are his grandson Prince George and the children of his friends Oliver Cholmondeley, Nicholas Barclay and Ralph Tollemach.
The Queen Consort’s honorary pages were her grandsons, Gus and Louis Lopez and Freddie Parker-Bowles, as well as her great-nephew Arthur Elliot.
In addition, Buckingham Palace shared an invitation to the coronation, which in due course will be sent to more than two thousand guests. It was designed by artist Andrew Jamison.
According to Buckingham Palace, the design for the invitation was hand-painted in watercolor and gouache, and the design will be reproduced and printed on recycled cardboard with gold foil details.
“The centerpiece of the design is the motif of the Green Man, an ancient figure from British folklore, a symbol of spring and rebirth, celebrating a new reign. The shape of the Green Man, crowned with natural foliage, is formed by oak, ivy. and hawthorn leaves, as well as the symbolic colors of the United Kingdom,” – said the message.
The design also features wildflowers grouped in threes – meaning the king became the third monarch of his name. The lion, unicorn and boar were taken from the arms of the monarch and Her Majesty’s father, Major Bruce Shand.
