Success in Brazil
The “Knights of the Zodiac” became famous in Brazil in the mid-1990s, when the animated series “Saint Seiya” was shown on TV Manchete. The original manga was a mix of combat typically japanese with greek mythology.
Following the original story
At the film, the plot follows in the wake of the original story: “When a war deity is reincarnated in the body of a young girl, the orphan Seiya discovers that he is destined to protect her and save the world. But that’s only if he can face the past and become a Knight of the Zodiac”, says the synopsis of IMDb, an online database of information about cinema, TV, music and games.
The premiere in movie theaters from the rest of the world does not yet have a confirmed date.
