1. Partnership with Nintendo

The PlayStation 3 was the first game console to use a Blu-ray disc, which allowed gamers to games to be recorded at a much higher capacity than DVD discs.
8. The “Slim” version
Sony released an updated version of the PlayStation 3 known as the “PlayStation 3 Slim” in 2009, which was significantly smaller and lighter than the original model.
9. Making history again
The PlayStation 4 was released in 2013 and has become the best-selling console of the current generation with over 110 million units sold worldwide.
10. The most desired
Sony launched the new generation of PlayStation consoles, called PlayStation 5in 2020. The console features the most powerful processor, next-gen graphics, and fastest load times any video game has ever been capable of.
