Miroshnichenko and his wife have already left an application, collected a long pile of documents, passed a medical examination. But there are problems with psychological courses.
“We did not think that the greatest difficulties would come to us in the psychological courses. The courses start when there is a whole set of applicants, and not when you are ready to take them. They last about three months. situation in Kiev is one day of courses a week. Although in the Kiev region, both courses can be taken immediately within 10 days. But we have registration in the city, so my wife and I must take them in Kiev. According to the rules , you can’t miss a class. That means you have to make sure that in the next three months on any day of the week you will definitely be able to attend these psychological courses. In my case, it is a BIG PROBLEM and almost impossible, because, for example, in May I have to go to Liverpool for Eurovision. Besides, I have live TV broadcasts in Snidanka. Probably, am misses them ing family for three months,” said the presenter.
The couple wanted to pay for them not only for themselves, but for the whole group to pass through at the same time for 10 days. But it turned out to be impossible.
“People wait for years to take a child from an orphanage because of crazy stacks of documents, because of queues for psychological courses, because of waiting for a court decision. And in all this time the children remain in orphanages. Ukraine is marching on Europe, so I hope that Europeans will help overcome this unsustainable adoption system of ours. This is ridiculous – huge queues of families who want take a child into an orphanage, and at the same time, the orphanages are full of orphans who have been waiting for their new parents for years!” – said the host.
Recall that the Ukrainian presenter Daniel Salem, who serves in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that he wanted to adopt a child.
