The player is being accused of assault and rape by a young woman, aged 23, while he was in a luxurious nightclub in Barcelona, on December 30 last year.
The woman said that Daniel forced her to perform oral sex on him in the club’s bathroom and, after she refused, the player assaulted her and in sequence would have penetrated until he ejaculated and then left the bathroom asking her to wait to leave.
At first, the athlete denied the accusations, however, months later, he assumed he had penetrated the woman, at the end of January Daniel traveled to Spain to testify and after the Spanish Justice heard his and the victim’s statements, the player was arrested declared preventative.
