Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the artist has been traveling abroad with charity concerts to raise money to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian musician Volodymyr Dantes gave eight concerts for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front in two days. He announced it on Instagram.
According to him, during a trip to the front line, he thought about who needed these performances, however, upon arriving at the place, the artist realized that visiting the military and just writing a letter of thanks was completely different things.
“It’s one thing to write a thank you on Instagram and another to go there and thank everyone. Make sure we don’t forget them, that we are very grateful to them and try our best to make sure they have everything we need . Or sometimes just sit with them in a military unit, eat, drink tea and listen to history. Feel how men live for a year, and then sing together on the guitar is very touching ,” he wrote.
At the same time, Dantes urged his colleagues on the stage to follow his example and perform for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the firing line, adding that he will come to the front line more than once.
