They want to permanently exclude Russia from the international beauty contest Miss Universe. This was announced by the President of Miss Ukraine Universe Anna Filimonova on Instagram.
According to him, the leadership of Miss Universe has already been notified about the initiative of Ukrainians.
“We are confident that our partners in Miss Universe will make the right decision. Russia should never participate in this contest again, as it will anger a large number of countries that do not want to see the representative of Russia. next to them, ”Filimonova said. .
He also added that Miss Universe President Paula Shugart supports Ukraine in the fight against the Russian war. The organization assists Ukraine financially and informally.
“Their organization has made a large number of charitable contributions and helped with information, posting memos on how foreigners in Ukraine can help with their resources,” added the head of Miss Ukraine.
