The famous Ukrainian singer Tina Karol for the first time shared the details of how she met the first day of a full-scale war. He spoke about it in an interview for Vogue gloss.
According to him, on February 24, 2022, he went to the monastery, where he went during peace to “calm his thoughts and soul.”
“Sometimes I visit the monastery to pray and calm my thoughts and soul, which I did on February 24. It is a place of peace and quiet, but that night the nuns broke their vow of silence, wept and called their relatives on the phone. “It was terrible, the heart was bleeding because the whole monastery was filled with screams and prayers for the salvation of souls,” he recalled.
Tina Karol also added that due to the full-scale invasion of Russia from the star, she became a refugee. However, in his work, the singer decided to tell the whole world the truth about the war taking place on the territory of our country.
“Lost her husband, she (life – ed.) became a manifesto of a strong woman. After the war immediately started, I suddenly became not a star, but a refugee, who made my manifesto in cultural diplomacy. I believe that my art can inspire someone, to tell more about Ukraine as a worthy and incredible country. This is part of the joint struggle for victory. Soft power is my battle front,” the performer summed up.
