In 1996, in Ukraine, at the legislative level, the transition to winter time was fixed on the last Sunday of October at 04:00, and to summer time on the last Sunday of March at 03:00.
The clock change in Ukraine began in 1981. The goal was to save electricity and extend daylight hours. Since then, in our country, the clock has been changed twice a year. In 2023, it will happen on Sunday, March 26th.
This means that at night Ukrainians have to move the hands of the clock one hour earlier.
That said, people usually don’t have to worry about remembering to do this, since most clocks today automatically switch to daylight saving time.
In particular, manufacturers set the time translation to factory settings on electronic devices.
At the same time, experts say that the transition to daylight saving time does not affect the human body in the most positive way.
According to scientists, turning the hands of the clock can provoke the development of cardiovascular and immune diseases, as they change the biological rhythm of a person.
In addition, lack of sleep and changing routines can also cause stress.
In this regard, experts advise emotional preparation for the clock change in advance.
Recommendations:
- Sleep Change – Start changing sleep patterns two weeks before March 26;
- walking in the fresh air – they will help saturate the brain with oxygen;
- morning exercises – physical exercises will help you wake up refreshed and in a good mood;
-
proper breakfast – in the morning it is better to consume rich food to start the body.
