The artists are sure that they will return to the stage of the drama theater, which will be restored after the de-occupation of the city.
The famous Ukrainian band Boombox recalled how, on the eve of a mass attack, on February 22, 2022, they performed at the Mariupol Drama Theater. The team announced this on their Facebook page.
They were the last to take the stage of the Drama Theatre, where the Russian occupiers dropped a powerful air bomb in March, killing hundreds of civilians.
“One year ago, on February 22, 2022, Boombox played at the Mariupol Drama Theater. This was the last concert that took place at the MDT. But we will definitely hold a concert at the restored theater of Mariupol. The fight continues,” said the message.
The musicians also showed photos taken that day.
