For the first time in the history of Miss Ukraine, the participant who will represent our country in the international beauty contest will be chosen not by a professional jury, but by Ukrainians through online voting. This is stated on the page of Miss Ukraine on Instagram.
“This year, the winner from Ukraine has a special mission: not only to adequately represent our country at the contest, but to be a symbol of courage, incompetence, female strength and faith in the future,” said by Veronika Shchiptsova, chairman of the Miss Ukraine contest committee.
It is known that due to the full invasion of Russia, the casting was partially held in the format of online interviews. Also, according to the decision of the organizers, there will be only 15 participants, and not 25, as before.
It was previously reported that Victoria Apanasenko, who represented Ukraine in the international beauty contest Miss Universe, will get married.
