An outstanding Ukrainian musician died on Monday, February 20. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.
At the age of 51, one of the founders of the famous Ukrainian rock band Mertviy pіven, Lyubomyr Futorsky, died. This was announced by the founder of the Lament of Yeremia group, Taras Chubai on Facebook.
“The best songs of Dead Pivnya were written by Lyubko Futor. Bright Memory and the Kingdom of Heaven. Shock and sadness,” he wrote.
It is known that the musician was born on November 16, 1972 in Lviv. He studied at the Faculty of Physics of LNU named after Ivan Franko, where the group Dead Piven was founded.
After a while, Lubomir Futorsky left it and founded the Misto Memphis project. However, from time to time the musician participated in the group’s recordings and concerts.
In 2011, Dead Piven ceased to exist.
