With diverse attractions, water parks are excellent options to enjoy the hot days
The hottest season of the year is already here. And for those who don’t like the beach, or who do, but want to diversify their trips, a great option is to enjoy the period in one of the several water parks existing throughout the country. With attractions for all ages and spaces that appeal to adults and children, there will be no shortage of fun. Check out our list!
1. Beach Park (Aquiraz – CE)
One of the most famous water parks in the country, Beach Park stands out in Northeast region and has become important for tourism in the region. It has a structure of more than 200,000 m² that includes, in addition to the water park, three resorts, a hotel, Beach Restaurant and Vila Azul do Mar, a space for services and coexistence.
Located 17 km from Fortaleza, in a beautiful area by the sea, the park attracts Brazilian and foreign tourists who visit the region. It has varied attractions that cater to different audiences, from the most radical to small children.

One of the highlights is the Tobomusik, the musical waterslide opened in 2021 that offers a different experience: from the queue to the fall, the visitor is accompanied by music and lights. There are three circuits with different lighting to experience. With a height of 13 meters, this attraction conquers adults and the bravest children.

For families with small children, some options are Aqua Baby, Aqua Circo, Arca de Noé and Correnteza Encantada, where it is possible to circulate through an area of the park being taken in tubes or floating. Ideal time to relax.

Another very famous attraction is the Maremoto, which is divided into two wave pools, ideal for those who want to feel the simulated rocking of the sea, but in freshwater. To complete the offer of services, the park recently inaugurated a new spa, which should operate in high season from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in front of the Acqua Circo attraction, offering different types of massages. And if, after having fun and relaxing, hunger strikes, just turn to one of the eight restaurant options that are scattered throughout the park and serve the most varied tastes in a relaxed and family atmosphere.
2. Hot Park (Rio Quente – GO)
Uniting fun and adrenaline in a family atmosphere for 25 years, Hot Park is located in the municipality
of Rio Quente, in Goiás, and attracts visitors with its naturally warm waters. The region, incidentally, is considered the largest hydrothermal resort on the planet. Annually, the Hot Park receives more than 1.5 million visitors, being the third most visited water park in South America.
Half Pipe and Xpirate
Recently recognized by Tripadvisor Traveler’s Choice 2022 as the “6th best amusement park in the world”, Hot Park has exciting attractions such as the Half Pipe and the Xpirado, a waterslide that conquers not only for the adrenaline of the descent, but for the carefully constructed spooky scenery that reminds us of an abandoned fishing village.
Acqua River and Hotibum toy
At Acqua River, children over 1.20 m can have fun on one of the three water slides available. Another choice for families with children is the Hotibum toy, which combines water slides for the little ones and interactive attractions, in addition to the Lazy River.
Cerrado Beach and Turbilhados
The park also has Praia do Cerrado, the largest beach with natural warm waters in the world, with a pool with waves that reach up to 1.2 meters. Recently, the Hot Park inaugurated another attraction: the Turbilhados, which consists of a radical descent with buoys for up to four people through two waterslides. One of them with an unprecedented maneuver in Brazil, the Flying Saucer 45. The attraction has the capacity to serve 1,600 people per hour. 3. Wet’n Wild (Itupeva – SP)
Completing 25 years in 2023, Wet’n Wild has been standing out for the quality of attractions and for being close to the São Paulo capital, in the municipality of Itupeva. Neighboring the Hopi Hari theme park and Shopping SerrAzul, the region aspires to become the Brazilian Orlando with its varied attractions.
Wet’n Wild is one of the parks on our list that deserves a visit. It has a total area of 160,000 m², with capacity to receive 12,000 people per day. There are 25 attractions for all ages in an area of native forest that even has a natural lake.

Among the attractions, we can highlight the most radical ones, such as Meteor, considered the highest capsule slide in the world, where it is possible to simulate a free fall from 40 meters high reaching a speed of 100 km/h. There’s heart.
After going through this experience, the visitor will be able to face the Vortex (a buoy for four people that descends from a height of 24 meters), the Crazy Drop (half-pipe style), the Water Bomb (three slides that from a height of 7 meters) and the Space Bow (where the visitor passes through a whirlpool before falling into the pool).

Souza. The attraction is located in Hot Land and has slides, showers, showers, waterfalls, swings, tilting cones and squirt hoses. Another ideal space for them is Kid’s Lagoon.
Lazy River and Wave Lagoon
For family moments, the Lazy River entertains and relaxes those who slide through its waters with or without a float, and the Wave Lagoon simulates a beach with five types of waves. 4. Araucaria Acqua Park (Araucaria – PR)
The south of the country is also home to well-structured water parks full of attractions. Among the options present in this region, we can highlight the Araucária Acqua Park, which was built in a large area of 240 thousand square meters. About 30 minutes away from the center of Curitiba, leisure is guaranteed for visitors, with attractions classified as kids, family and radical.

The aquatic complex comprises a fantastic wave pool, the first in southern Brazil; the distinctive Acqua Cobra, where visitors descend on buoys through the sharp teeth of a scenographic Cobra; the Tobo Cobra, a waterslide full of curves that simulates the body of a snake; the Kamikaze, two radical descents measuring 17 meters in height; the Slow River, where people glide smoothly on buoys that are propelled by water jets, simulating a weak current.

5. Acqua Lokos (Capão da Canoa – RS)

The ideal place to walk with family and friends, the park stands out for its attractions and diverse cuisine, in addition to being surrounded by nature in an area that comprises 35 hectares. With more than 25 years of existence, Acqua Lokos conquers a varied public profile, attracting tourists from Brazil and neighboring countries.
Attractions for all audiences
The attractions are distributed in five areas: Aquatic Summer, Covered, Aquatic Pocket, Fun and Farm. There are adult and children’s pools, a covered area with slightly heated water, several water toys for the whole family, in addition to three roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, horse and buggy rides, a train, farm animals to meet and cultural shows.
It is also possible to enjoy attractions that are paid separately, such as a tour of the House of Terror, adventure sports with Arena Wood (paintball, target shooting and quad biking) and Elite Radical (climbing, tree climbing and zip lines), in addition to karting with Velopark.

If hunger strikes, just go to one of the many gastronomic spaces that are spread throughout the park, with options for snacks, drinks and meals, delicacies for all tastes. Those coming from far away can stay at the Hotel Acqua Lokos, which has exclusive recreation during the summer. Guests can also participate in the EcoHistorical Tour, which is a guided trail through the Atlantic Forest, learning about the stories of the region, in addition to the animals and vegetation of the native forest.
