The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak spoke via videoconference with the famous Hollywood actress, Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Angelina Jolie, the press service reports.

On this occasion, the head of the OP thanked the actress on her recent visit to Ukraine for a humanitarian purpose. According to him, he inspired many Ukrainians and attracted the attention of Ukrainian and world media.

“Everyone you’ve met is so happy. It’s so important when an inspiring person like you is talking to those who are struggling right now, sharing his or her strength and feelings with them,” Yermak said.

Jolie thanked her for her help in organizing and accompanying her trip to Lviv and stressed that she was very touched by the conversation with the Ukrainians.

“I am deeply committed to help them in any way I can, especially children. I will do my best for children in your country,” the celebrity said.

During the talks, the need for practical measures was discussed to solve the problems faced by young Ukrainians due to the war. In particular, due to forced relocation, separation from loved ones, physical and psychological trauma.

The actress expressed her readiness to interact with responsible people and structures that are directly concerned about children’s problems in order to properly organize all necessary activities and provide practical assistance.

It will be recalled that Jolie spoke about children injured in a missile attack at the train station in Kramatorsk.
