The artist showed archival footage taken during his performances and showed the consequences of the Russian missile attack on December 31.
Ukrainian singer Nastya Kamenskikh posted on Instagram a touching video of the Ukraine Palace before and after the Russian missile terror.
“The Palace of Ukraine. The place is a holiday that is always full of laughter and loud applause, and before the war, on the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, children and their parents were always taken to events at the festival. An atmosphere of creativity has always reigned there, real art is created there. A place of cultural events, performances and concerts. For me, it is a symbolic place since childhood, because I often visit palace, behind the scenes and in the dressing rooms, because my parents worked in the choir named Mr. Veryovka and often performed there. Palace Ukraine has always been a symbolic place for meeting artists with the audience, ” said Kamensky.
He also said that he performed at the Palace of Ukraine a few days before the start of a full-scale war, on February 16th.
“On the stage of the Palace, I sang the song Pochuttya in the Ukrainian Song of the Year and I did not think that almost a year later the war would destroy it. That was the number for the song Krishtal, which we then actively prepared for the performance in YUNA award scheduled for March, the audience in this hall will not be able to see it,” the artist said.
Kamensky emphasized that the terrorist country will not be able to steal the holiday atmosphere from Ukrainians.
“After the rocket attack on December 31, the building of the Palace of Ukraine was destroyed. The Palace of Ukraine is a place where the atmosphere of a holiday always reigns. This atmosphere was stolen from us not only here, but throughout the country. . But I know we will return all that was stolen. And here after our victory, we will surely sing our favorite songs in unity. Because we are together! We stick together. Because we are loyal and true, because we are on the side of light and good! Because we support ours and ours in difficult times “We will never stand aside! We will bring everything back and rebuild everything!” – summed up the star.
